My art teacher, professional artist Chu Okoli, referred me to John to try custom framing. At New Art, John works unpretentiously with me to choose styles of framing that I want: without or with mats and what sizes and colors, what thicknesses for the mouldings. When I forget yet again, he explains the differences between regular, non-glare, UV protective, and museum quality glass. Today John mentioned acrylic as an option instead of glass because a picture of mine had fallen off the wall, its glass shattering. The craftsmanship at New Art is excellent: Chu took the photograph here of his watercolor of my parents to show John’s work to his colleagues, saying, “It’s so clean!” At New Art, the prices are affordable and the turnaround is quick. The customer service is professional, with John being genuinely kind.
