Bob’s Advice

  • The outcome is usually bad if you feel that things are under control.

    • It means that you are not paying enough attention.

  • The outcome is usually good if you feel stressed.

    • The worst case scenario does not happen.

As he gets older, Bob also feels less able to cope with this kind of stress.


Today I learned that my mother chose “Cammy” as a nickname for “Camilla” because the nickname sounds Japanese, easy for my grandmothers to pronounce. She used a “thin book”, indicating the thickness with her left hand.

Bob said that there was a famous book called Book of Names; Claude Fable 5.1 says that it was likely “Name Your Baby by Lareina Rule, a slim Bantam mass-market paperback first issued in 1963 and reprinted constantly through the late 1960s and 1970s”. There are two other candidates. I will not purchase Name Your Baby just yet.
