Che-I Kao

Che-I Kao has a sister who voted for Trump because she supports Trump’s policies on immigration. I, Che-I Kao’s daughter, do not know whether he and my mother support Trump. But earlier this year, from Taiwan he told me this on FaceTime (my recollection is paraphrased):

“America has renewed itself because of immigration. This has kept the country strong for three hundred years, which is a pretty long time.”

Last night I told my cousin Andy Tsay, “When I heard that, I thought, ‘He’s wise’”.
